President's Message

Welcome Back!! We hope that everyone has had a fun summer and is ready to get back in the swing of school! Our on-line store opened on July 1st and will remain open until July 12th.  If you have not bought your PTA membership, spirit wear or the birthday Marquee for your student, be sure to visit www.jamesbowiepta.org. With one click, you will have the opportunity to join the PTA, buy spirit wear, verify information for the online directory, and express interest in volunteering. It is quick, it’s easy and you will be ready for the first day of school.  

As you experience the on-line store & the Bowie website, I hope that you will appreciate that it was all made possible through the hard work of our PTA and parent volunteers. Since the first day of summer, PTA volunteers have been working hard setting up the online store and website (check out the Bowie-isms), designing and ordering spirit wear, ordering prepackaged school supplies, and organizing programs to welcome our newest Mustangs to Bowie! The teachers will also be welcomed Back to School with a lunch provided by your PTA. 

We are so excited to welcome you back in the school this year.
